Brendan G. is Week 2's 5000 Shot Challenge Sniper of the Week! This is Brendan's third year participating in the Challenge having completed over 5000 shots in both 2014 and 2015. He is a 15 year old rising Midget player.

Tip of the Week Video: Week 3

Week 3 is all about balance.  Players need to learn to shoot of off either their left or their right foot since hockey moves quickly and players don't always have a chance to set up perfectly.  This is a great way to disguise a shot and to be able to shoot even if being hit by an opposing player. Good luck and keep shooting!

Congratulations to this year's first Sniper of the Week: Conner L.

Conner is an 11-year-old rising PeeWee who has been playing hockey for six (6) seasons. He shot 882 pucks during the first week of the Challenge!

2016 Challenge Kicks Off !

Under sunny skies last Saturday at TSR in Salem, this year's 5000 Shot Challenge kicked off with over 65 new shooters committing to becoming a better and more accurate shooter.  This year's Challenge now has over 250 participants ranging in age from 5 to 55!  Are you one?

 

Together with Bauer, High End Hockey, and Mylec the day was filled with great giveaways and shooting fun.  HEH's team of Cam Spiro, Travis Jeke, Mitch Nylen, Joe Whitney, and others clocked player's shots, instructed on how to have a better shot, and helped break the piñata!

 

There are now over 260 players taking this years' Challenge.  Keep an eye on the blog for the Sniper of the Week and to see weekly Tip of the Week videos from High End Hockey.
